Adam G. Malaty-Uhr has over a decade of education and leadership development experience serving with the US Army as a police mentor in Afghanistan, in the National Guard as an officer. He served both as a school teacher in Chicago and as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at both Depaul and Loyola Universities also in Chicago. He is a long-time friend to No One Left Behind (NOLB), and recent Harvard University Graduate. He started his own business focused on helping others take charge of their leadership development. He was first introduced to the non-profit when he was struggling to bring his Afghan interpreter to the US. After successfully bring him to the US. Adam started the Lost in Translation Project, and has been happily supporting NOLB since. He is currently serving with the Illinois Army National Guard as a Captain. He also holds a masters degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign in Educational Technology, and a Bachelors of Science from Illinois State University in Social Science Education.
