Jane Switzer has been an advocate for diversity and inclusion for over 25 years. As an attorney, teacher, author, and speaker, she was worked to educate the advocates of those who support all aspects of inclusion. In the last 27 years Jane has been an attorney, a high school and university teacher, and a public speaker who understands the importance of and the challenges in creating diverse and inclusive communities, schools, and work forces. Her first book is slated for publication with Publish Your Purpose Press in June 2019. She became a volunteer of NOLB-Pit in 2017, then served as their Legal Counsel and Director of Human Resources, and late in 2018 became the Pittsburgh Chapter President. She lives on a farm in western Pennsylvania where she raised her triplets, who are now in college. While a fierce advocate for all of her SIV families, she also brings to all her families the compassion and care of a mom. Her goals are to help her families feel safe, achieve self-sufficiency, find success, and SMILE.
